Helpdesk and Social Media Role

Description

Ortoo Technologies is the creator of GovernorHub, a cloud-based service used by over 40,000 school governors across the country. We are a small, friendly and modern company looking to grow and we need someone to join our team to provide support and help to our customers and to support our web and social media marketing.

The role will be based at the Enterprise Centre at the Norwich Research Park.

Hours and Pay

The role is part-time initially but there is scope for this to grow in the future. It would best suit someone who would benefit from working term time and 10 to 15 hours per week - either on two or three days. For the right candidate, the role could also be shaped around school hours if that was necessary.

Pay is £10 per hour.

The role is available to start immediately.

Skills and Knowledge

Key skills for the role are as follows:

  • An ability to communicate in writing and when talking in a clear, friendly and patient way.
  • Being able to manage your time and task list.
  • Being able to work as part of a small, friendly team.
  • Experience of using social media for marketing purposes.
  • Authoring of content for printed material and web-sites.

Highly desirable skills and knowledge:

  • A knowledge of schools and school governance.
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS and Web publishing.
